Main Duties :
1. Prepare, review and analyze gross profit monthly and prepare monthly analysis of variance by product, client, type of product, etc.) with explanations for senior management.
2. Maintain and update the provision for volume rebate schedule (coop, advertising, partnership, volume etc.).
3. Prepare and post certain monthly journal entries (GIT, Transport and Duty accruals, Volume Rebate accruals, Payroll and others).
4. Bank reconciliation for all accounts / companies & Produce the monthly GST/QST remittances, installments, rents, loan reports & payment for all companies.
5. Implement/maintain inventory controls, provide timely review of inventory turnover and provide recommendations to improve inventory management.
Criteria :
1. 5 to 7 years experience in accounting field, with at least 3 years experience in costing in an manufacturer / import environment plus CMA designation
2. Computer skills: MS Office (Advanced excel), SQL, Great Plains and Cognos an asset.
3. Knowledge of L/C and T/T
4. Bilingual (English and French)
