The Web Graphic Designer is responsible for designing highly effective email campaigns and all other online marketing initiatives, such as banner ads, design updates on corporate blog site, etc. In keeping with the strategic objectives of the retail on-line business as well as the overall marketing plans, which is to drive traffic to both our online business and our bricks and mortar.

The incumbent is accountable for creating designs that maintain the integrity and the look and feel (both from a brand and a fashion perspective) of our online marketing initiatives, to improve the overall experience of our customers. This entails synchronizing the visual aspects of the on-line experience with that of the general advertising campaign and POP visual material created by the Marketing departments, in order to present a seamless experience for our customers who shop across our selling channels (ecommerce and stores).

The incumbent is responsible for preparing all graphics and photography for all online marketing initiatives.”

The incumbent will create compelling designs and user-friendly email layouts that will attract and drive customers to our ecommerce sites as well as our stores, depending on the objectives of the given campaign.

The incumbent fully understands the needs and branding direction of the division and fully understands

the needs and behaviors of our target customer.

Market intelligence of various marketing, graphic and website trends by reviewing literature,

researching the web, visiting markets and competition, as well as a strong fashion sense

Requirements:

Bilingual

Other: CEGEP/College level degree in Graphic Design/Web Design or relative experience may include Marketing, Merchandising and Fashion

Software: Extensive knowledge of MAC environment: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Quark Express.
